West Geauga High School

The West Geauga High School Girls Cross Country team had several strong performances at the Hoka Night Race on Saturday at Spire. The girls finished 25th out of 36 teams competing and were paced by Lia Alvord who finished 69 out of a field of 322 runners with a time of 22:33. Cassie Gaskill finished in a time of 23:54 while Vanessa Winningham posted a time of 24:12 and Claire Taurasi finished in a time of 25:25. The girls will compete next at the Walsh Jesuit Invitational on September 12.
