Boys Rally Falls Short Against Hawken

The West Geauga Boys basketball team erased a double-digit second half deficit before falling 65-62 to the defending CVC Champion Hawken at home on Wednesday evening. The Wolverines were paced by Vince Vecchio who had a team-high 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting including 2-of-3 from behind the arc. Cooper Paskowski added 12 points and grabbed five rebounds and also blocked five shots. Finn Keenan added 11 points while Dominic Paros and Ryan Mobley each had eight. West Geauga will travel to Perry on Saturday for a triple-header starting at 2:30pm.
